I’m a product designer who’s comfortable with code. I make web apps, mobile apps, and complex internal systems usable and reliable. I follow new technology closely and enjoy bringing AI into design workflows.

I believe a good product can only be built through evolution, one release at a time. You can’t spend two years polishing the design and the interactions and then ship something remarkably usable and current — the world moves too fast for that.

I can make things beautiful, but I don’t chase trends. Good design doesn’t age. A new style won’t save a product — quality and attention to detail will.

My own pet project — a news app built with React Native that uses AI to gather and digest stories from trusted sources like Bloomberg, MIT Tech Review, NASA, Ukrainska Pravda and Hacker News, adding context and unexpected connections. It runs on the web and ships as native apps for iOS and Android. Visit the website ›

Project
Naia news app — start screen with the app tagline, the list of sources it digests and a call to read today's issueNaia news app — the daily issue as a two-column feed of story cards, each labelled with its source and publication timeNaia news app — settings screen with the daily notification toggle, its delivery time and the full list of sourcesNaia news app — reading view of a culture story with its source, tags and estimated reading timeNaia news app — share sheet previewing the story as a card for Stories, saving or sending onNaia news app — the share sheet's second card layout, a shorter crop of the same storyNaia news app — the end of the daily issue, dated and closing with a link back to the home screen

I love brewing and making coffee, and I use apps that help calculate proportions and track time. My favorite app works well, but it has a design that doesn’t satisfy me, so I decided to take a different approach to it. You can read more in the post ›
