I am engaged in and passionate about interface design, product design, and research.
I have a very broad experience; my path in design did not start immediately. Initially, I wrote texts for websites and filled them with content. I was involved in testing. Manual at first, then I automated the testing, advocated for testing automation, and implemented some technologies and processes in the company.
I had experience in HTML/CSS layout and programming. I created a small project about ordering proofreading and text editing. I integrated payment systems, experimented with various frameworks, Laravel and Vue.js. In short, technology interests me and if there is a need, I always find a way to implement it and solve a problem. Nothing is impossible.
For a while, I was involved in product management on a small project. It was an interesting experience, where I learned to work with analytics and metrics, build graphs, and use various analytical systems. I feel like I have experienced companies and projects from almost every conceivable angle.
Throughout all this, I have always been interested in design; it has always been somewhere close by. Eventually, I decided to make the switch and became a designer. In design, I have tried many things: graphic design, illustrations, posters, layout, interfaces, 3D graphics, pixel art, animation, creating paper prototypes, and prototypes and animations in specialized software, starting from the ancient ones like Quartz Composer to After Effects, Framer, Lottie, Principle, Figma, and many others.
Over the last five years, I have worked on projects like Work.ua, Education.ua, and Ratatype. Most of my practical experience was gained in this company. I started as a mid-level designer and ended up as a team leader, a team that I assembled myself.
I attended courses on product design and implemented the product design process in my team. On one of the projects, together with the team, we implemented the design process and achieved a very high-quality and visually pleasing result, which was also confirmed by numbers.
At Work.ua, I was involved in a range of significant projects:
Design of the Mobile Application for Work.ua: I was responsible for the entire design process, from market research to the development of an element system in Figma and a design system. This involved creating a multitude of screens.
Redesign of the Education.ua Website: This was a major project that began with research and a very cautious redesign approach. The previous design was quite outdated, so the transition had to be made as seamless as possible for users, which we successfully achieved.
Redesign of the Website and App for Work.ua: I reviewed the current documentation and design system, planned the transition to a new design, and updated the libraries.
Implementing Design Process in My Design Team: I worked with stakeholders, conducted surveys, in-depth interviews, and interface testing. Along with my team, we went through all stages of the process and understood how it works, achieving impressive results.
Building and Managing a Team of 5 Designers: I provided feedback, held monthly meetings for synchronization on completed major projects and development, answered questions, solved problems, and ensured a comfortable working environment for the team.
Part of the Team Focused on Strategic and Global Development of Work.ua: I worked on long-term company plans and objectives (OKRs), contributing to the strategic and global development of the project.
For me, design is not just about beauty, but also about solving problems. I love aesthetics and minimalism, but I also see beauty in complex systems, charts, and diagrams that are endlessly fascinating. In the automation of processes, in well-designed research, clearly conveyed requirements, well-formatted documents, adherence to deadlines, testing—all these aspects influence the final result, which should be as close to ideal as possible.
